The Journey
Discover the timeline of significant life events, tracing growth and milestones that define the journey.
The first team (1989)
It started with £100, to break up an old car. That’s when Tony began thinking: how many cars could he do in a weekend? A light‑bulb moment followed. On Saturday morning he called his friends together and turned it into a challenge—who could strip the car the fastest. He offered £75 for first place, £50 for second, and £30 for the runners‑up. By the end of that first weekend, he’d made £285.

Automotive (1992)
Tony’s passion for the automotive industry continued. He went on to work with several companies, writing and refining code to improve racing performance, and collaborating with teams in the British Touring Car Championship.
This sparked Tony’s first love of software and firmware—remapping code and developing a deeper understanding of Bosch electronic systems.
Education Degree (1994)
Spending time with Bosch and the Electronic Security Industry, Tony decided Electronic Engineering was his best path.
Skipping the first year due to knowledge and field experience, Tony was the youngest in his year. Sponsored by USA Car immobiliser manufacturer, Tony completed early continuing through to Queen Mary University.

Manufacturing (1997)
Travelling to China Tony worked closely with OEM/ODM partners. Tony’s expertise in electronic hardware, firmware, and software was put to the test.
Multi wired to 2-wire technology systems, TCP/IP network, Modbus RS485, Wireless and other smart control products and solutions.
Software – Firmware (1998)
Recognising the importance of software, Tony dived back into C++, C# and Linux Kernel 2.4.
From 1999 Tony worked closely with over 30 skilled engineers writing the foundations of hardware code still used today.
Tony guided an international team to implement SIP onto Linux based smart touch screens, the first IP Intercom system in Europe was launched 2004.

Starting a company (2007)
Working with many companies, Tony decided to start his first consultancy company JTN Networks.
Learning fast about compliance and certifications, Tony assisted large companies through the painful process.
Telecare (2010)
Working alongside a large City Council, tony and his team designed and delivered over 4,700 homes across the 21st Century BT Fibre Network with a Smart Intercom system IP Telecare ready.
Throughout the following 5 years, Tony help push Telecare into the new world. Design, test and deliver to multiple OEM partners in the industry. Over 4,000 homes across multiple developers, were fitted with pioneering new Smart Home technology.

Smart Home (2016)
Working alongside STS Group and the University of Hertfordshire, Tony and the team transformed the industry through innovative smart lighting and climate control solutions.
Technological advances required patent filings, integration with multiple partners, and both proprietary and open-protocol communication through cloud-based servers and services. By 2018, cyber-security had become increasingly important as the IoT landscape continued to expand.
SaaS & Cyber-security (2019)
With over 5,000 apartments using the new smart home technology, the growth of using the app was increasing daily. Although the cloud was using azure and other big name brands, it was set to improve.
Tony and the team internally and with external assistance improved the security of the smart home app.

Technical Sales (2021)
In 2020, Tony recognised that sales demanded a more technical, insight‑driven approach. Alongside targeted training, he began engaging new customers and partners with a simplified, value‑focused message that made complex technology easy to understand.
By leveraging emerging AI tools, Tony created smart videos and presentations that helped customers visualise how intelligent solutions work, understand the data being captured, and confidently choose the products and services that delivered the greatest impact.
